This curriculum book explores a series of examples of learning about and from promises that are relevant for 4-11 year olds. The units focus on how religion and belief communities use promises at significant moments of life, how keeping a promise changes behaviour and the presence of promises in sacred text. Noah, Baptism and marriage are often taught and these units provide imaginative ways to support learning. Learning about and from promises is suggested using story, drama, enquiry, creativity and art. Christianity, Judaism, Sikhism and Hinduism are religions featured in this publication
