We feature case studies, interviews and photos from generous members of several communities. It is essential in a book focusing on how we live to show real people’s lives and the diversity within and between worldviews as well as similarities.
Our multidisciplinary or, to use Ofsted language, ʻways of working unit for 9 to11s reintroduces religious studies and sociology with our disciplinary experts Dr Chris Cotter and Dr Rachael Shillitoe. In this unit, pupils use ways of working from both disciplines to explore the role and impact of the Gurdwara on Sikhs and local communities.
