This book offers clear and knowledge rich substantive content about the practice of worship for Christians, Jews and Muslims and focuses on celebrations and worship in New Year festivals such as Diwali.
The units and resources focus on Christian, Hindu, Jewish and Muslim worldviews and we focus on the non-religious celebrations at new year. For younger children we explore worship through the eyes of Grace and Imran. We also explore what happens in Sunday worship at a Church and a Saturday Shabbat service at a Synagogue with a set of contemporary photos.
Our disciplinary experts reintroduce the lenses of religious studies and psychology.

Colour cartoon illustrations will appeal across the five-to-11 age range.The lead character is a very obvious detective-type figure with the obligatory magnifying glass. Christian, Hindu, Jewish, and Muslim world-views are covered. Non-religious festivals at New Year are also included. Volumes 1-3 are also available.
